Harry Potter Lego Series Offers Adventure For Everyone

August 31st, 2009

The world of Lego, computer games and Harry Potter have come together in an entertaining way for Potter fans. The Lego Creator Series uses the design style of Lego building blocks and figures, placing them in an electronic game. Harry Potter Lego, which ties in with the books and films, is a popular part of the range.

Players can role play as different characters, exploring the terrain and undertaking adventures. To progress through different areas, players must complete basic tasks. The first game was released in 2001 as Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone movie was launched. Scenes depicted in the game include a troll at large and inside the Gringotts bank.

The second film, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was accompanied by the second Harry Potter Lego game. This time, the story told of Aragog in the Dark Forest and of the elf Dobby gaining his freedom. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban followed and featured Sirius Black’s Escape and the Shrieking Shack.

The fourth in the series was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. This was an even darker tale and the Harry Potter Lego game shows the terrifying Graveyard Duel and the Rescue from the Merpeople. Fans of the franchise eagerly await the fifth film in the series. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is scheduled to be released in the USA on July 11 2007 and a day later in the UK. The accompanying game is ready to hit the shelves and focuses on scenes inside Hogwarts school. There will be the character of the new Headmistress, Dolores Umbridge and also the menacing Death Eaters.
